Knightmare Adventurers Club

The Knightmare Adventurers Club was set up in 1991. For £3.95 a year, members received 'Exclusive News' on the forthcoming series on Knightmare, an 'Adventure Pack' crammed full of surprise goodies. KAC Card

Each membership pack included a set of a welcome letter and Knightmare goodies, which might have included a ruler, rubber, puzzle game, bookmark, badge, pen and membership card (above). There was also a set 4 coloring pens encased in a clear plastic wallet with the 'Frightknight' logo printed in black, and I believe there were also Knightmare pencils but I have not seen one yet.

Members also received 'The Quest' - The Official Newsletter of the Knightmare Adventurers Club where they were entitled to enter exclusive competitions, send in contributions for the newsletter, and receive discounts on Knightmare merchandise (in the last issue).

In total, there were 10 issues of 'The Quest', with the last one in Summer 1995. They are all available below to read below. A club flyer was sent along with any replies Broadsword gave to fan's letters (this one shows the launch flyer), and an advertisement for the club was featured at the back of the Knightmare books from 1991-1993.

After the club closed, Paul McIntosh started up 'The Eye Shield' fanzine, which later became official. Anton Benson also set up an unofficial fanzine called 'KM' which stood for 'Knightmare Magazine'.

The following pages are reproductions of the printed version of 'The Quest'. Obviously, not everything can be made to look exactly the same on a web page because of technical reasons. Some bits unrelated to Knightmare have been removed, and some pictures may not be very clear, but it's all there otherwise.
