<Treguard> My, I hadn't expected you here, for I thought that you'd all left and given up hopes of anyone ever beating my dungeon. Fear not, for there is still time for a couple of die to be cast. What happens during that time is what's important.

<Treguard> A team already in progress are getting deep into Level 2. Will they survive? That is the question that has been making even Majida and myself wonder.

<Majida> Hurry up. At this rate, it'll be time out again before you know it!

<Treguard> Oh shut up you silly little sprite

<Majida> Hello?! I'm a genie, remember?

<Treguard> How can I forget. Anyway, Majida, since you have the memory of a fish with amnesia, I'll give you a reminder of what happened last week.

<Majida> Erm, yes, that would help. Hey and listen, next time the camera uses this shot, tell them to back off a little bit, I aint in the shot!

<Treguard> Oh, you always wanted to have the main part. Well anyway, here's that progress report I promised you. Ah yes, and for you watchers too. Naturally.

<Treguard> "Sacrilege! You have defiled the resting place of Shyom-Hij. Prepare to die now or present your token. One way or another, you're going to die somewhere along the dark and winding path which leads us all to our fate

<Treguard> "I see that you do indeed carry the token. Very well. You may pass. But, for your sake, I hope that we never cross paths again. Farewell!

<Treguard> This is the main obstacle in Level 2, and is known as the dreaded eliminator. We've already lost two teams here. What you must do is look at the screen that appears. 

<Treguard> You are given a situation. For example, -2 and +2. Then you go on to the first stage where you a given a question. MONDAY and JULY. Firstly you must -2 on the Monday which will become Saturday, and then +2 on the JULY, which then becomes 

<Treguard> SEPTEMBER. A different situation is given for each of the 4 questions. If you don't get all of these correct, the eliminator will swat you with a 20 Megawatt Fireball! I'm sure you understand all that perfectly eh? 

<Treguard> And the best part is that you have 45 seconds per question! Go!

<Majida> We've lost many teams here, so be careful and be fast! To speed up your answer, a good idea is to set each person in your team one of the parts in the question.

<Treguard> On your travels you make take two objects unless told otherwise. You can possess as many spells as you like but only cast 3 in the whole adventure. Your health status is represented by a display shown in the top right of the magic mirror. 

<Treguard> This doesn't always appear, but it goes through a few stages. In green you are at full strength. When it turns yellow, you should be on the look out for food, and on red you are in grave danger. There are 3 stages when the life force is red. On the 3rd red stage, you are dead! 

<Treguard> Put food into your knapsack, and also designate a person on your team who will cast out spells, and one who will give directions. If 

<Treguard> you all give directions, or answers to a riddle, then the first answer / direction will be taken. Good Luck

<Treguard> You enter a plain room with four exits. Each exit has a narrow path leading up to it. In between each path is a sharp drop. Above each door is a symbol, each one being different.

<Hiltono> I advise we do the quest for the crown :)

<Treguard> Yes, team. This is the hall of choice. Here you must choose an object which you are to redeem in your quest. Will it be the cup that heals (which some call the chalice), the sword of freedom, the shield of justice or the crown in glory?

<Treguard> Go through any of the doors and you will choose that quest, stay where you are on the question mark, and your choice will be determined. Also, by staying on the question mark, you could be assigned a quest not available to you by choice. 

<Treguard> For example, freeing someone, etc. It's your choice team, but choose quickly and wisely. May I suggest you choose the one that best suits you. 

<Jaffa0> No - you had that already - I reckon the mystery one :)

<Treguard> There isn't really any difference in the difficulty between any of the quests. It's just down to chance at the end of the day, oh yes, and of course, skill, bravery, and wits

<Treguard> "Ah welcome to Level 1, team. Here there is little danger posed by the opposition, but I should still keep a lookout, just in case. First, you need to find some supplies. 

<Treguard> There is an exit at the back of the room and a spyglass in front of you.

<Treguard> "The time is drawing near. Soon, we, the opposition, shall have a season where we are undefeated. I still need all of you to operate at your fullest if we are to succeed. 

<Treguard> The zombie fleet need to be controlled if they are to take orders from us."

<Treguard> "Of course. The zombies have closed minds, so even the strongest of hypnotic magic would have no effect on them"

<Treguard> "Ah, but you're wrong there my little friend. Level 1 is our first target, so I need to control the zombies there first. I have had a green staff placed somewhere in Level 1. And I want you….

<Treguard> "Erm, Sir?"

<Treguard> "oh, it's you, did you have the staff transported safely?"

<Treguard> "Well, that's the problem. On the way to the place where you told us to left it, well, the road we used was very…erm…bumpy. And…"

<Treguard> "Yes?"

<Treguard> "The staff broke into small pieces. I'm not sure how many pieces it has broken into, so…erm…"

<Treguard> "Right, that's it. Communications out!"

<Treguard> "Sir? Why couldn't you just transport the staff yourself?"

<Treguard> "Well, you idiot, I've ran out of transportation spells. Anyway, you go to Level 1 and collect all of the pieces of the staff. Then, when you've done that bring it back here. Whatever you do, don't let the staff fall into the hands of any dungeoneers or Merlin. 

<Ark> (Guys, use the notepad to take this down!)

<Treguard> He'd find the staff most interesting, and would no doubt pay highly for it. Remember, it's a green staff! 

<Treguard> Oh and by the way, this staff is considered to be a magical object, so you can still take your usual two items. Got it?"

<Treguard> "Yep"

<Hiltono> green staff, many pieces, got it

<Treguard> "Erm, just excuse me a second. I do believe. Yes, I do believe that we're being spied upon. Hey dungeoneer, let me give you a hand."

<Majida> Yes. This will give you information determined by how well you score when asked 3 questions. Answer 0 questions correctly, and you will perish, very quickly. Answer 1 question correctly and you may take any objects that you wish. Answer 2, and you will receive information about ONE of the objects on the table. Answer 3 and you will receive all information.

<Treguard> Yes. Majida's right team. Anyway, the first thing I think is to find some food and supplies, you're going to need everything that you can get your hands on.

<Jaffa0> What is our quest again?

<Treguard> MYSTERY

<Majida> Of course I'm right! I'm a genie!

<Treguard> Indeed. Anyway, onward team! For I fear that something terrible is afoot, and this may be the last time with which we set our eyes upon Level 2. If you're to complete your quest in the dungeon, you're going to have to seriously hurry.

<Treguard> Good Work. I need something again of you though. Remember Meridian? That Centurion fellow? You should, he pulverised your tertiary. Change that, make that, MY tertiary task force, last week! 

<Treguard> Yes I do remember Sir. We sustained heavy losses that day. The creature went mad, as though under some sort of spell.

<Treguard> That, my friend isn't too far from the truth. Ixia kidnapped three of his females and has him working for her day and night, for if he doesn't, she will kill his females. 

<Treguard> Luckily, we have formed an alliance with Ixia, and she has promised to stop Meridian from attacking us, as long as we don't send more than five of our troops to her level.

<Treguard> I see. That was a good arrangement.

<Treguard> Yes, but in order for us to have this agreement, we must prevent Meridian from ever getting help to find his females. Ixia on her own cannot guarantee that prevention of this is possible. So, to comply with the terms of the agreement, 

<Treguard> I have ordered all five of our troops to search and destroy any dungeoneers, rather than guard vital areas. If a dungeoneer so much as spends too much time in a room, our troops will be on them like a deadly pack of dogs!

<Treguard> That does sound good Sire.

<Treguard> <<<please wait>>>

<Treguard> As you can see. Meridian's females are locked up away perfectly safe in Ixia's dungeon complex. 

<Treguard> Even I don't know how to brake into it! I think we can drop down to condition yellow. Well Done everyone. I consider this another win for the Opposition.

<Treguard> Yes Sire, very good. Now, it is my duty to protect you sire, for there are spies about, and one is looking at us right now.

<Jaffa0> Break glass over Hilts head, very forcefully, then jam it in his eye for good measure!

<Treguard> Oh really? Well. Erm, please do finish them off.
