I caught the end of Strictly Come Dancing earlier, and was surprised to see Tess Daly wearing a dress that appeared to be made out of Lord Fear's old outfit. It was even missing the right sleeve!

From this evening's Total Wipeout (another programme that could make good use of the catchphrase "Oooh, nasty")...

15:03 to 15:50. He talked so much, Amanda's life force ran out!!

Strange moment earlier when I heard Noel Edmonds say "Nightmare Dave" on Deal Or No Deal! (And oddly appropriate since today's contestant was a guy in drag!)

Lol. Was that the pantomime special one?
Many years ago I wrote fanfictions. Now I attempt to write sanely.

Yes it was (I think he was being an Ugly Stepsister).

I've just been catching up on the Big Fat Quiz of the 80s, and I think I've spotted the perfect "son of Treguard" for when Knightmare comes back - Adam Buxton! You gotta have the right beard, after all. ;)

And Jimmy Carr can be Pickle!

During June 2014, Fifteen To One was in the same phenomenal position that Knightmare was in during August 2013: 1988 repeats on Challenge and a new celebrity episode on another channel in the same week. Tim Vine on Celebrity Fifteen To One was asked who went to sea in a beautiful pea-green boat. This was also asked on Knightmare, by Mellisandre to Douglas' team in Series 3. The team got it right. In other parts of their quest, though, they could have done with some T. Vine inspiration.

Just waiting for The Last Leg, and the end of Cats Does Countdown is on. I'm sure I just heard the following:

"How do you spell SHROUD?"
Susie Dent: "Not like that!"

We may have come close to having Knightmare mentioned on The Last Leg this year. There was an episode where they were due to cover the Prince Philip Australian knighthood fiasco, known as the #Knightmare on social media, but Nick Clegg was on and they must have extended his segment as the show (which, for those who don't know, is live) was in progress.

I'm hoping that Josh Widdicombe may still bring up Knightmare on The Last Leg at some point. He's tweeted about it, done Knightmare Live (05/08/2013) and, if this tweet from a fellow forum member is anything to go by, made reference to it on another (radio) programme last year.

I've been tuning into I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in support of Yvette Fielding (a Saturday morning CITV presenter who later worked with a winning dungeoneer). Last Sunday's episode had a trial called Horror Flying Circus in which one blindfolded celebrity was guided by another celebrity along an obstacle-strewn path over a sheer drop. There was some confusion between left and right.

In one of the more recent episodes of Catchphrase, "Changing gears" was represented by Mr. Chips walking across giant cogs.

In Professor Branestawm Returns last week (on BBC iPlayer here), one of the characters designed a killer caravan where "handy rotating blades" come out from the inside walls.
