THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Tom Bell (Knightmare Live's Lord Fear) has written about Knightmare and its stage version for The Independent on Sunday.

The article was published in the 25th May 2014 edition and can be read online here. It discusses the enduring appeal of Knightmare, a behind-the-scenes anecdote or two from the filming of last year's YouTube Geek Week Knightmare episode, and the alcohol-aided genesis of Knightmare Live.

As Knightmare is something of a specialism of ours here at Knightmare.com, we feel compelled to advise you of a few 'urban myths' that are contained within the article. Knightmare didn't start in 1986 (not for TV viewers, anyway); its creator isn't quite named Tim Childs; dungeoneers did not typically spellcast. Full marks, though, for the rightful comma included in "Enter, stranger!"

If you've ever been to a Knightmare Live performance, you'll appreciate what Tom has to say about his experience of the audiences. If you haven't, know that shows are lined up this year in Newbury, Margate, London, Milton Keynes, King's Landing, Edinburgh and Salford from June through to October. Only one of those is unconfirmed. For ticket links, Knightmare Live's own dotcom is the place to go. To find out about the other stuff that Tom Bell does, there's his website.
