How can you call Pickle without making reference to Majida!

Well I hope not, unless there's something you're not telling us Kieran which I doubt ::).
Am sure Aranel would be able to confirm nothing has been hidden!

Anyway....' Majida!'? Is that a new prefix for her? I don't feel she made the same impact as Pickle did, especially not for her first season. She did kinda take over from Treguard in S8 though, she provided a character the advisors could interact with, wheras Treguard tended to stay in the background. :)

I think, if KM had gone on for a few more seasons then Majida would have been more developed, she was only in it for one series and a very short one (S8).

2 series of her was quite enough, i think it was probably her presence that affected viewing figures

I suspect Treguard was sick of looking at Pickle all day and wanted something a bit more pleasing on the eye.

A slight change to the subject, but if Knightmare had gone on does anyone think (after seeing Hordriss particularly these last couple of times) Hordriss would've lasted or would the character become old (if you get what I mean) and suffer a similar fate as Merlin did during series 4?

I think Hordriss' character was getting a bit worn out by the end of season 7 to be honest. Like Treguard, there were times when he was descending into a caricature of himself, and his only real role in the series during the last couple of years was to be the target of Lord Fear's underhand schemes. It was quite ludicrous the way he never seemed to learn from experience and so kept getting caught out.

He was more interesting when he was neutral, as his character seemed much stronger.

Hordiss might have survived with a more definate direction - he would have to be less involved in comedy scenes and more of powerful wizard who didn't keep getting caught out. Maybe as a more Merlin type of character who would give dungeoneers magic if they earned it!

I think Majida would have survived too. The relationship between her and Treguard was good but again this could have been developed - the dialogue "in front of the fire" should have went right through the show.
Good night out there; whatever you are!
