OK, here's one for your pathetic mortal brains to consider:

At the start of Series 7, when I meet Lissard for the first time, this is what I say:

"Oh Good, I ask for a Seneschal and he sends me a tadpole"

So my question to you all is, who is the 'he' in question there?

I've been trying to work it out and even I'm not sure, so see what you make of it.

Santa Claus?

Imagine Lord Fear and Santa....

[Santa] Now, it says here that you've been a very bad boy this year....you've killed about 9 children.

[Lord Fear] Yes, yes, but it was all a game. Give me my presents!

[Santa] I'm not going to give you anything you 'orrible little man!

[Lord Fear] Give me my presents or... (forms fireball)

[Santa] Alright, here's a tadpole. (runs)

A very good season start especially with the Lissard & Lord Fear bit at the start. Many new characters were introduced in todays episode such as Majida, Rothberry, Romahna, Fidgit and Raptor. A bit too much talking and absolutely no puzzles, etc yet.
The last bit was good in the Dwarf Tunnels but Majida just gave it away by saying they need to use the SIGHT spell.
The ending seemed very quick as well as Treguard closed the episode.
Hopefully things will pick up the pace now that most of the characters, etc have been introduced. :)

Nice start to the season.

I get the feeling that the banter between Treguard and Majida will split people down the middle round here.

They'll either find it humourous and think it's a great addition or think it that it distracts from the quest itself and is nothing more than an annoyance.

I'm on the annoyance side. I always preferred it when it was just Treguard.

Anyway, not a bad episode, bit of a slow start and they were helped a bit too much for my liking, but not bad.

I liked the ending.

Is this the series that starts off with Lissard running around by the sewers of Goth?

I think I liked the setting of this series.

Grr, though. Wish I was at home... Lovely challenge tv!!

Well, naturally I miss the old characters. And the old helmet. But this series seems pretty good too, Rothberry the Apothecary is amusing, and that 3D world Smirkenoff was flying over during the end credits looked okay, despite also looking a little jerky. And I can imagine the bantering is needed for this episode, as it's Majida's first appearance and needs to be explained, but let's hope the next 14 episodes tone it down a little. Level 1 in this Series seems a little easier than last series, the clues are given out more obviously (Like "Enough about...THE BROLLACAN...for the moment" and "It's too hard, he doesn't have any...SIGHT"). Speaking of which, what the blazes was that bit at the end about where the dungeoneer could see what he was doing? Doesn't that defeat the whole point about justice being blind? The hourglass thing at the end was a good indication of Time Out, though.
