Re: Issues with the knew knightmare episodes...
LOL!
I can just imagine it now, a Treguard action figure which says three phrases at the push of a button!
"Welcome watchers of illusion, to the castle of confusion"
"DIS-MISS"
"Oooh Nasty"

Once again returning... and once again going just as fast!

Or playsets entitled "Dicken meets the blocker" or "Ridolfo and Pooka double-set combo" or "real fire action Smirkenorff". Somebody start a thread ... actually, best not to.
Oh look there's J.G. Ballard in a burnt-out fridge with a spitfire pilot.

Re: Issues with the knew knightmare episodes...
on a more sensible note...success of the new series leading to a build up of the franchise would make getting the DVD's of the first 8 series brought out *lots* easier.

Shouldn't that be the red dragon from series 8?"real fire action Smirkenorff".

What about limited edition extremely hot dragon mints? hotter than those extra stong mints. And what about a singing Sly hands figure? and a lissard figure, that smells of Tuna!

Re: Issues with the knew knightmare episodes...
ok, just logged on, and i'm tired, but surely with all the interest in fantasy, adventure and magic that has been generated lately by Lotr and Harry Potter films you would think that companies would love anything that allows them to jump on the bandwagon.
and it would benefit the fans too, by giving us what we truly want.
and benefit todays kids, by giving them what they truly need......
Again, maybe it's because i'm tired but i don't really get how the new format works, can anybody explain this to me in real simple terms? :P
Cheers

Re: Issues with the knew knightmare episodes...
erm....well i know very little compared to others around here but here's what ive grasped so far. (people, please correct me if i got the wrong end of the stick somewhere)
old format used cromakey studio, had dungeoneer in helmut guided by advisors. dungeon master explained stuff throughout quest...etc
new format uses modern VR. has dungeoneer fully emersed in VR guiding him/her self. advisors may or may not be dispensed with though id imagine they'd be handy for the puzzles (4 brains better than 1...etc) and for jotting down passwords, codes, calling names, spells and the like. I've seen an avatar (VR representaion) of hugo myatt as treguard so i'm guessing the dungeon master still fulfills some role although that too is not fully revealed.
this topic was created from a sort of doubt as to the new format. my main question was about tension build up however recently Tim Child made a post which, at least for me, quelled fears.
anything else?
