Hehe. That isn't a quote - it's a parody.

Re: Essex meet-up
Yes sir!
One Mackem here! As I know you are as well. I'm from Doxford Park/Silksworth area. Sure we could sort something, perhaps.
Mr Malefact, in light of our rather profound discussions on this subject (the meet-up, not the unfortunate incidence of my being a mackem - and note people, mackems and geordies are two separate races - they hate one another!) - I'm going to pull out all the stops to make sure I can attend whatever.
If there's more interest from up north, I'll feel more like travelling right down south - for Sunderland is a fair trek - however, work out your majorities and the weights behind them, good sir - because like I said, it would be absolutely criminal to lose a lot of interest for a single person's - and I'd rather nothing changed for the prep on my account. Just know I'm interested and keep me posted!
[PS - nobody else remind me of the shame that is Byker Grove ] KaM

Re: Essex meet-up
Well, as I say, there's absolutely no reason why there can't be more than one meet-up for several different parts of the country. I'd be more than willing to attend all of them, money allowing.
Subject to change.
