Mark Wickson

Post by Illusion »

I've had an e-mail from Mark Wickson - the first ever winning dungeoneer (Series 2).

He has offered to answer any questions, so I thought I'd throw it out. I may even publish this as an interview on the website if there are enough questions.

Is there anything people want to ask him?

Can he please register on this message board asap, as it's not long until his winning quest is shown on Challenge.

Great stuff, thanks. :)

How was he and the rest of the team told that they'd won? Was there some kind of celebration afterwards?

Do you still own the trophies? (the silver spurs)

The most memorable occurance backstage?

At what point in your quest did you allow yourself to think, 'we're going to win'?

Were there any major bloopers that had to be re-filmed?

Were there any puzzles you've seen in other quests from Knightmare that you wish you could've had a crack at in your own adventure?

Anything interesting to say about what filming was like.
Was there anything that was different from how you expected it to be.
Where there any times when you (as the dungeoneer) was told what to do by the production staff-I.e when you filmed the wellway scences maybe and it was made to look as though you'd actually fallen through a well and into the next level.
Anything else?

Was it more exciting to watch your quest on TV, or to actually take part as a dungeoneer?

Have many people congratulated you since you won the quest? (i.e strangers, friends or any others)

I know that you could hear your advisors and people in
Knightmare castle through an earpiece in your ear.
whatabout when the images of Mogdred and Merlin
appeared. How did you hear their voices.
was it through your earpiece or was there some come kind of speaker in the blueroom projecting their voices to you.
I found it interesting to observe that on several occasions when a loud voice is speaking to a dungeoneer that they turn around. This happened in Bens quest(s6) when he was talking to Hordriss. he turned around twice. This would maybe suggest that the voice was coming from behind ben.
Can you clear this up.
