Knightmare Convention: local advertising and poster

I've been to a lot of places in Dereham and advertised our campaign, romany rye (pub) has put the advert up on their board but as it currently is I won't get a lot seeing it so I need to find a way to condense this down (as a few there said) and put the main points across so I can advertise this in poster format to get the message across.

I got some success in Dereham and fakenham news, they can't advertise us there but she's given Me the email for Ian Clarke who used to work there, if I pass the details on to him it should help as he's now situated in the office in Norwich (Norwich EDP).

Gamecave in dereham as well should be able to help as long as I make it into a poster for them so they can put it on the front desk as this is the best way.

Just sent the email to Ian clarke (Archant) who works at Norwich EDP about our campaign (fingers crossed).

I've also finished the poster and put the most important perks on there and the rest in the link for more pledgers to follow.

That poster has a lot of content/text on it... I'm not sure anyone would read it. I think it would need to be simpler and straight to the point, and clearer.

Many reasons such as financial, travel, not online, not part of the KM social circle theses days or because it's a 'convention' not everyone cares for conventions.

I've only done conventions as an exhibitor, other wise id never go to any, an acquired taste that possibly many other km fans don't have.

I agree with everything Wombstar has said. I have told all my friends about it and mentioned it to people in my work. I have shown my support for it. I simply don't have the time to do what dugeoneerborne has done (I admire what you have done by the way dugeoneerborne).

I also echo what Wombstar has said regarding the poster. I feel if you simplfly it, it would stand out more. Fair play for what you have done and I hope you get some sort of medal for your efforts.

Thanks for the advice guys, I've simplified it and it should look a lot better now, let's see how it prints now, I'll link it first.

I've made the changes and simplified it the best I could, I couldn't print it properly on My printer (colour problems) but I have saved it on My flashticks and I'll find a library in Norwich where I can make copies and see how many I can make, it's the only option left now.

Here's the finished poster, I had to do it in ms word instead of pse10 as the filter would've made the writing in the link unreadable, I wish I could make any further corrections but I've ran out of time and that's the best I can do & I hope it's enough.

Edit: The poster shows up properly on facebook, I don't know why half of it's missing on here as it's all there.

Dungeoneerborne,

If you give me a day or two I will make an official poster. Probably better to give that out than something unofficial.

What's up guys

Been through the heart of knightmare (Norwich) today, made 40 odd copies of My poster, went to all the important spots ( forum, theatre royal, bbc radio, heart radio, tv & sci-fi shop opposite forum, guy at front desk used to work on the show back in 95).

Also gave this to Anglia studios, & hope they say something, tried most of the comics & adventure shops, a few toy shops too, along with game & some market stalls & tried to sell this as much as I possibly could & stressed the play a room in the dungeon pledge the most & how important the convention if it happens is really important for the shows future & possible return if we're successful.

I also retried My home area Dereham, put this up on noticeboard in town, a few pubs, a printing shop, game cave & a costume shop ( stressed that although kids died in the game it was only virtual & the website & show aren't harmful or offensive to kids & it's only done in fun ( as they asked & I had to explain as they weren't familiar with the show ).

If anyone has bbc radio (95.1 FM), they might talk about us anytime today, so keep on the watchout for it, this is the best I could do & I can't stress to the ones I gave this to just how important this really is, I'll continue to share online.

Mystara: The poster is a lot better on fb, only messes up here on the site for some odd reason & sorry already done, however I hope it brings good results :D .

This is the best I could do & I'll continue to share online,.

Spellcasting: K N A C K E R E D .
