Yes post counts do not alter REAL status around here, ie Knights don't get better treatment etc so it really is not worth anything.

I have been here since the new forums were setup and my post count is not massively high, but then I only post when I actually have something to say.

Please also bear in mind that Emii has been posting on the Forum for almost a year-and-a-half, so her post count has accumulated over a fair period of time, rather than being an overnight bombardment. And in answer, for all of the many, many posts that the likes of GG, Emii, myself, and other 1000+ have made, very few of them have been wasted. That's why we have over a thousand. If we were timewasting Illusion would have banned us by now.

On ebay I have noticed that people have a star and certain people's star's are different colours. I am not quite sure what they are for but that's because my dad uses ebay and I don't. I thought that they might be for the amount of items that an individual has bought or sold. My dad said that they are for the amount of comments that other users made about that user. I don't know who is right though! I noticed that one user has a shooting star, which they have bought and sold hundreds of things and they also have hundreds of comments also about them!

Rank on this site has never mattered at all, there have been members on here for nearly 4 years now (coughs), yet are the same as any other.  Just some with HUGE posts tallys have different rankings, not any higher people, however  ;D

3 x 10 to the eight metres per second actually, well, that's how fast it moves in a vacuum (and therefore my head) but its also normally used for the speed of light in air.
