Has any1 been to the televirtual website recently?

theres a short video file of the new knightmare available for download (why do i get the feeling that this has been mentioned during my absence from the forum) anyway it seems to be a causeway scene and it all looks pretty cool.

one thing tho, does anyone else think the dungeoneer avatar would look much cooler if he/she wore the helmet of justice, the knapsack and the eyeshield? it seems to be all thats missing for the true KM experiance.

We see Lord Fear and Lissard talking about a dungeoneer trap and the safe route accross, which I think is named something. Lissard asks what could he name it and Lord Fear says that he doesn't care and that he could even use his own name as long as he doesn't use the first three letters as the dungeoneer would probably guess and whatever he uses to reverse the order. So if Lissard sets his own name backwards then, so now you probably see what I mean.

Perhaps the best bit of the revised blurb, imo:

"...there is evidence to suggest that Knightmare had more of an enduring impact on the generation that viewed it so avidly, than any other children's television programme so far documented."

Yup, I'd go along with that.

If so you might be having the same problem as me. Do you have Real Player? What I did was click on the first clip link, which automatically downloaded to one of my temporary internet file folders and when finished it started WinAmp, but for some reason I couldn't get anything. So I looked at the properties for the folder destination and then opened Real Player and tried to open the file there, but that didn't seem to work either. So I right clicked on the first link again and clicked on Save target as and chose a suitable destination. When it finished downloading I opened Real Player and opened the downloaded file there. It gave me an Illegal operation message, so I tried again and it worked. So I then downloaded the other two.

Still, it's good to see evidence of the good ol' saracastic humour and banter between Lord Fear and Lissard!

As for the second clip, the wall monster voice does sound like Bernard Scripps (Peter Benson) from Heartbeat... the monster itself is also reminiscent of the depressed Gargoyle from Series 1 & 2 of Knightmare!

The old gargoyles and this new "Despair" monster do sound a bit like Marvin... I half expect them to suddenly say "I think you ought to know, I'm feeling very depressed..."!
