<![CDATA[Knightmare arcade game!!!]]>Did anyone know there was a Knightmare arcade game from 1984? It probably wasn't based on the UK TV series (I couldn't have been, could it?) but it looks cool nonetheless.

As of 2 days ago, the game is emulated by MAME (the world's greatest arcade game emulator, which supports over 2,800 arcade games).

Legend has it that many of Hideo Kojima's creative team (of 'Metal Gear Solid' fame) cut their teeth on it's production.

You've no idea who much swearing that game caused when I was trying to track down KM .adfs for WinUAE!

There's also a Windows 98 platform game called Knightmare, which seems to be an episode in a series.

It is certainly not based on the TV show, seeing as the show was not even a concept back in 1983. Cannot say I have ever come across it before myself though.
