  • You refer to children as 'kidsies'

  • You mistake magnifying glasses for spy glasses

  • You wake up in the middle of the night with nightmares about the original life force

  • Every time someone knocks on the door you call out "Enter Stranger"

  • When someone has an accident you immediately want to say "Oooh nasty" (Every knightmare fan must have done that)

  • When packing your bag for college you fill it with food, and carry your books in your hands.

Between 2001 and 2005, an annual project known as the Knightmare RPG allowed several volunteers to do just that... with the actual helmet and eyeshield props! Not a bad outcome of watching too much Knightmare. If you're curious, the Knightmare Infosite and Interactive Knightmare website have more information on some of the Knightmare RPG Seasons.

I came across a narrow cycle path stuck inbetween two pavements, and thinking I was a contestant on Knightmare, jumped over the cycle path worried that I would otherwise fall to certain doom with Treguard's "Oooh, Nasty!" ringing in my head.
