It's just a shame they were so far short of their £5000 target. I wonder whether they could have encouraged a few more pledges by dropping by the forum or chatroom.

They are trying to raise £5,000 which will cover the cost of upgrading the existing set plus investment towards new equipment and props. There are a few rewards on offer for making a pledge, which include the chance to be a dungeoneer in a forthcoming show and if you're quick enough you can also get your hands on the original Knightmare Live helmet which was additionally used in the GeekWeek episode!
