<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Natasha Pope in Gaia: A Death on Dancing Ledge]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">One of the interviewees in <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/p0fzy1xm/gaia-a-death-on-dancing-ledge" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">BBC Three's three-part documentary about Gaia Pope-Sutherland</a> is her mother: named in the captions as Kim but better known to us as Natasha Pope (Velda, Brangwen and Morghanna in Knightmare Series 3, 1989).</p>
<p dir="auto">The story of Gaia's trauma, and her family's lasting heartbreak, is tragic and distressing. If there is one moment of light in the series, it's in Episode 3 when we see home video of Natasha/Kim at Dancing Ledge as a newlywed and mother-to-be, with references to happy times spent there. This would have been some time prior to 1998 so she looks similar to how we remember her from Knightmare.</p>
