I've also changed the permissions for Newly Registered Users so that they now cannot send private messages. I always wanted to avoid doing that, but I don't really see an alternative.

Same here. Wasn't too sure who to contact, so I messaged Drassil.

I tried doing that too, but I dunno if the message went through as it just vanished for some reason (never appeared in my outbox or sent folder). Anyway, glad the spammer's gone now!

Is anyone getting spammed with messages about this?

The last one came from a user called 'Marythisk'. This person only joined Monday 17th August 2026 so I can only assume this isn't any approved message from any forum admin. How do I report / block this person? I cannot see any option on their profile to do any such thing. Apparently I can add them as a foe, but I'm not sure what this will block them.

Yeah, I've had four such messages today from that account! You can create a message rule that will automatically delete their messages, but annoyingly you still get a notification about them. I don't think adding them as a foe will block private messages from them either.
