Who's "the giant" ?

The Giant appeared TWICE in Knightmare - on both occasions in the first level of Season 1, during Simon's and Helen's quests.

I thought it was one of the Grimwolds at first, but last time I watched that scene closely, it didn't look like any of the previous ogres to me.

I can only remember the time Mr Grimwold killed a dungenner, I can't recall any of the others..

He followed a few dungeoneers through dwarf tunnels and the valley, getting stabbed by Velda on one occasion. There was also the time he had to be restrained first by Mellisandre and then by Mrs Grimwold.

On second thoughts did Young Grimwold make an appearance in series 7? He left the room when Rothbery said he couldn't do anything for him as he was too ugly!

On second thoughts did Young Grimwold make an appearance in series 7? He left the room when Rothbery said he couldn't do anything for him as he was too ugly! I think it was Nicola's quest that happened.

Mr Grimwold made quite a few appearances in Series 3, but I believe you're right about "young Grimwold" in Series 6 only appearing once.

Yes that was the scene with Julias Scaramonger and Sophia!

Gibbet only appeared twice I think.

Audrey Jenkinson played it in season 2, but she left the series at the end of that year, so when the Oracle reappeared in the third season, it was recast with Zoe Loftin in the role.

I suppose you could say it only appeared once as Audrey, and then only appeared once as Zoe.

Zoe's Oracle made three appearances, I think.

A team dying because of darkness (first ever quest)

Team 12 in season 2 also died when the light source faded away.

Not exactly. It appeared twice, but was played by two different actresses. Audrey Jenkinson played it in season 2, but she left the series at the end of that year, so when the Oracle reappeared in the third season, it was recast with Zoe Loftin in the role.

I suppose you could say it only appeared once as Audrey, and then only appeared once as Zoe.

Regarding the original post the swinging pendulum room indeed only appeared once. The room with the green monster made several appearances, once when Cedric attacked it.

Mildred appearing as Treguard and attempting to goad the dungeoneer into the cooking pot. Treguard was put under a spell but the team avoided the trap.

I saw that on Challenge a few weeks ago for the first time and thought that was as creepy as anything. That would have freaked me out as a kid for sure.

Mildred appearing as Treguard and attempting to goad the dungeoneer into the cooking pot. Treguard was put under a spell but the team avoided the trap.

An actor switching from one character to another unintentionally - Paul Valentine using Motley's voice when IC as Hands in series 5. It's not a deliberate one-off, but I can't think of another instance of an actor doing that...

While these can be subjective, I've also noticed Hands slipping into or at least towards Motley in Quest 2 of Series 7 (the scene with Romahna), and vice versa in Quest 1 of Series 8 (the noise he makes upon entering the trapdoor room).

Cliff Barry gets Lissard & Raptor slightly confused while he's under the troll, but to be fair he has to switch rapidly from one to the other!

Also, Mildread's room made only one appearance in Series 3, without Mildread of course.

Indeed, the chamber was modified frequently; in season 3 it often appeared as the ledge on the outer rim of the hill, with a night-time landscape visible below.
