And the only Windows Media Player clip there is is the Life Force sequence, which is blurred up until you see the skull zooming in. It really annoys me. 😠 Who agrees with me?

This is because they were created a while back, and in fact have gone back to using the G2 encoding software when making new files as the newer versions do not work as well on my PC.

If you want to display much of the RealMedia created at any time since last spring, you'll need RealOne. You're right, it's got all sorts of bugs (and the GUI looks horrible!), but it's a question of priority.

Avoid it like the plague. If you want to play the files on this website I suggest you instead go to http://forms.real.com/real/player/blackjack.html and download RealPlayer 8. Once you've downloaded it (it's free), start up RealPlayer, click on View and then click on 'Content Panel' to get rid of the junk on the left. Voila! Everything should work fine now with no 'Real needs to download new software' messages. The website contains RealPlayer 8's for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP, Windows 95, and Mac OS8/OS9.

I'm actually a Windows Meida Player user too, for some reason I can't seem to get RealPlayer to work without paying/doing something else that I can't do.

I have the same exact problem as Brangwen, I can't download it withough paying. My parents would go nuts! 😮

I'm sure it's technically possible to produce clips in Windows Media Player format, but that would probably involve encoding each clip again from video capture, unless anyone knows of a way to convert Real files to Windows Media files.

As there are well over 100 clips, this would be a large and time consuming task and I'm afraid would not be possible.

Out of interest why can you not download RealPlayer?

Also, only the last few seconds are the best resolution because that was the only occasion when it filled the screen - the life force death sequence. On all the other occasions, it was sat in the corner.
