To celebrate, I'm holding a anniversary bash in the room! Whether you're a regular, haven't come in ages, or have never come at all, everyone's invited! There'll be party cake, and lemonade, and paper hats...

Since it clashes with Pooka's 21st party in Real Life, I'm extending the celebrations to both Saturday and Sunday, so everyone can join in with boosting my ego. Hopefully they'll be fun nights had by all...and if anyone has the chatlog of my first night, I'd love to see it!

I have decided to give this chat game a break for a while, as many people seem to get bored of it quite quickly, I have remade the rules so that everyone in the chat gets a chance to play! I shall post the new rules up here soon!

I just get: Couldn't establish connection to ezri.mine.nu on port 6.667....

Unable to connect to server (Connection refused)

Someone should inform Forester ASAP.

I sent him an email at about 1pm, nothing more I can do really.

At the moment when trying to connect I'm getting an error:

Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)

Additionally a couple of times so far I've got an alternative error of:

Unable to connect to server (Network is unreachable)

Hope it gets sorted for this evening.

Will the servers be able to handle that many?

The server can manage thousands upon thousands if it wanted to, its not a problem, i've seen servers with 40000 channels and some rooms with 7000+ people in, but its for file sharing mostly. I've been an OP in a chatroom with over 200 users, and ran my own chatroom with over 50 at one point, i'd love to see 50 users in knightmare chat, but its unlikely, unless people from these forums start visiting the chatroom

As far as I know they've managed 40

I'm sure they can, anyway.

Edit: Thinking about it, we'll probably get around Billy's target of 40. Mid 30's at least.

If we got everyone in the chat on the same night we'd have about 20 I think.

I am sure I can recruit some more people to, so come on people! theres not long to go now!

Remember, Darren will be unveiling the results for the first official Knightmare Awards on the night. Anyone have any other ideas for what we could do? Perhaps we could all electronically join hands and participate in a mass singsong of the Knightmare VR Theme...or not.

Keep up the recruiting! I know it sounds impossible, but surely, SURELY we can do this!
