<![CDATA[Corrdior of Blades]]>I have to say, whoever came up with the idea of that must have been a genius of sadism or just a genius, as it needed both dungeoneers wits and skill and of their team members to dodge the baldes on either side - although why didn't they just lie flat during most of the encounters? the blades would have just gone over their heads.

Do you think it was just a natural development from the room of blades from the earier seires or it just jumped into someones head? The technology looks pretty advanced there anyway, with the moving corrdior, timed blade events i.e. when they came down etc.

Would be interesting to see the behind the scenes mechanics for that

Barrys quest was kinda funny too cos all the characters got fed up with him interupting them all the time! I recall one moment when sylvester hands tells him to stop crowding him! he looked set to punch him one lol!

By contrast, both winners in season 2, as an example, had quests about a quarter of an hour shorter!

Although this series has often been slated, you gotta admit that the way they built up to some of the scenes was well done. In team 2 (Daniel)'s quest, Treguard really plays the final scenes well. At the time I was well-scared!

CoB used to scare me- I didn't like the noises much (I was about 3 and tried to force myself to not watch the show, which was of course, impossible).

Me and my mate from primary school all them years ago (I'm now 18) wanted to build a balsa wood Knightmare castle with all the rooms in it including CoB- now I look back and think- Impossible!!

...So I have created a game that incorporates it. (see other topic..erm... you'll find it)

Barry's quest is always going to be one of those situations we will never know. Like Geoff Hurst in '66 (though the ball did go over the line), Barry's blade will always be one of those where we will enver know.

That is a very good analogy! All you need now is for a Russian linesman (or some kind of pasing wizard in level 3) to state that the blade did not slice Barry- and if it did, it wouldn't have hurt much anyway, as it would have just nicked him a little.
