(besides finding the actual quest object/pieces of the quest object/a door with the quest object above it). I wonder if it would be exactly the same? Because in series 5 and 6, each team had the choice of all four quest objects. I think that there were about 20 teams shortlisted for appearing on the programme, and if there was a different quest for each team and each quest object, there would be a total of 80 possible quests! This does not seem likely. So, what do people think would have changed if a team had chosen a different quest object?

We have every single quest item!" and at 5:10pm, replacing that day's episode of Blockbusters, would be a huge hour long CITV party with Treguard and co getting down with Pat Sharp, Neil Buchanan, Tilly Tom and Tiny, Gaz Top, etc etc etc. But then in the next episode, mirroring trends for certain computer games at the time, four new quest items would be brought in!

The SUPER Sword, which is coloured gold and flashes a bit through the magic of Commodore.

The SUPER Shield which fires laser bolts.

The SUPER Cup which is filled with delicious Vanilla Coke.

And the SUPER Crown which spins around, flashes disco lights and plays the KM theme whenever someone puts it on.

Anyway.

The Cup would be the one I'd instantly go for as no one else ever won it!

They may have thought it too unlikely to occur. It's worth remembering that in some series it was impossible for all quest objects to be won, as they mysteriously went back into the Dungeon immediately; e.g. Team 5 of Series 6 brought back the Crown, and minutes later, Team 6 started a quest for it.

I haven't got time to calculate it at the moment, but I reckon that's well over half a season. Ao it wouldn't leave all that much to fill in, and I'm sure they could invent something extra if they needed to, maybe a new Free-The-Maid quest.
