(I'm writing this chapter on my own as Elita can't get online at the moment thanks to computer problems.) One warning  -  I've had to up the story's guidance rating to an R because episodes 2 & 3 feature scenes unsuitable for readers under 18. It makes Sorcerer Scurvy the first ever R rated KM fic on fanfiction.net.

And in other fanfic news, Drassil and I are in the (very, very) early planning stages of a crossover story of Knightmare and Sliders. We have no idea as yet when we'll even start writing that one, let alone when it'll be ready to read.

Mine is going quite well, although I'm not really working from beginning to end. It tends to end up that way whenever I write things so I'm not concerned by it, but it does make it hard to tell how far you've got when you have so many gaps to fill in.

While the plots do have similarities, they're certainly not the same. In fact you may notice stronger parallels with an episode of Quantum Leap -  especially the ghostly charade.

I would certainly recommend the story. It's a lot of fun. The point in the story when you realise why it is called '...Christmas Carol' is uplifting!

There are some nice resonances of 'Blackadder's Christmas Carol' (my favourite episode). Were they intentional?

I was wondering: should we at some point start a 'The Best Of Knightmare Fanfiction' thread, where we post extracts from our fanfics, so that people who've never read them before can see what they're missing? (I noticed that the first few people to post on the 'Knightmare Movie' thread have all written KM fanfics.) Because, as far as I'm concerned, the world needs more of three things:

More Knightmare

More Knightmare fanfiction

More chairs

And I've never yet read a Knightmare fanfic I didn't enjoy.
