I too like skarkhill came across knight mare by accident i used to always switch between cbbc and citv as a kid but preferred cbbc when I used to see the start of knightmare i turned over to cbbc assuming that the cartoon intro was the start of things to come as i preffered real people in programs to that of cartoon, but one fine day i decied right im going to wait and watch this program out and what a program  it turned out to be i think it was 1990 series 4 when i first watched it.

This was in Series 4, and the spells were TRANSFORMATION and BUT (or BUTT).
I'm just wondering how long it would take them to spell out and cast TRANSFORMATION. By the time they'd finished spelling it out, the life-force would have gone down to red ;D

Oh, did you notice the spell-book on the status bar that came up? The two spells appeared, But and Transform... then it appeared to get stuck  ::)

My earliest proper memory is probably the 1988 series, when the team won the Silver Spurs.
I was really too young to understand the first two series, though I distinctly remember being scared of the 1st series 'room transition' sound, and the bomb rooms! Oddly, the life force skull, and the floating skulls never scared me. Golgaragh and the gargoyles did a bit though!
One day you say "Enter Stranger" and big goblin comes in!

You sure you put the manacles on her before spellcasting so she couldn't escape?  ;)
