RIP Barry Chuckle

Post by DuxBellorum »

In case anyone hasn't heard, Barry Chuckle, one half of the Chuckle Brothers has passed away at the age of 73.

There didn't seem to be a time over the last 30 years plus that they weren't on TV.

I was such a huge fan growing up and ChuckleVision was one of the few CBBC shows I watched.

There was of course a Knightmare connection in 2000 as Hugo Myatt played the Master in the Out For The Count episode.

RIP Barry Elliott AKA Barry Chuckle, a sad day for Kids TV :(

Cedric kneed down close to my helmet so i could see him and told me.
"You're not witless. You're just nice. Too nice really for your own good. That's your main problem."

Very sad, unexpected news. Many people will fondly remember Barry for a long time to come.

There's a pleasing tribute to the Chuckle Brothers in the form of Knighty Knight Mare, a Knightmare crossover written by Billy Hicks in 2004: http://interactive.knightmare.org.uk/co ... ght%20Mare
