Correct! The title as a whole is a reference to Lord Fear's debut. Would you like any clues for the other ones?

...well at least I won't have to think about it anymore! XD
And yes I think some clues would be nice.

22. Moonset. 'Setting Moon' might make it slightly more obvious. Series 7.
23. Do Goblins Dream of Emetic Sheep? Series 3.
26. Gorgon's Alive! Series 2.
27. Star Trek. Take this one literally. Series 3.
28. Malice Aforethought. The first word is the key.
30. The Travelling Companion. Having someone or something along for the journey (though not along for the ride) can be significant. Series 3.

Gorgon's Alive is probably that team from Merseyside (

) who didn't take the shield and turned to stone.
I'm pretty sure Star Trek is that team that messed up with the invisibility amulet and fell off the cliff.
28 I think is Malice's debut in series 4.

Aha, good thinking with Star Trek, if it's right! I didn't think of that.
Moonset must be the first episode of S7 when Majida is introduced?

Is 23 the episode with the goblin-related "would you like a present?" death?

22, 23, 26 and 27 correctly guessed! Moonset, by the way, was Richard Whiteley's favourite word.

Wow, that's an interesting fact.
Okay...umm...could 28 be when Dicken's team defeated Malice with the fireball to the face? (ouch)

I think its about time I had a guess at one of these.... so I'm going to say
Series 3 Episode 8.
This is because Ross' team (Series 3 Team 6) are accompanied by McGrew for a large section of Level 2, but have to part ways when McGrew pushes the minecart for Ross to take the ride into Level 3.

28 and 30 now solved! 'Travelling Companion', by the way, was also a reference to the axe that accompanied Ross on the final part of his journey.
It must be time for another batch.
31. Hurry While Stocks Last
32. The Quick and The Dead
33. Insult Cellar
34. The Writing on the Wall
35. Must Fly
36. Cule Britannia
37. Getting Caught in the Reign
38. Helen Goes Bananas
39. Doug, Himself a Hole
40. Downplaying

The Writing on the Wall? I seem to remember Treguard giving this quote when the team in season 1 (I think) thought the 'Potion' bottle said 'Poison'. They obviously can't read

Guesses:
31. The one where Giles finds Merlin in the stocks?
33. Cedric & Folly's duel?
38. Pickle sneaking a banana into Helen's knapsack in the first episode of Series 4?
39. Douglas getting blown up after his thoroughly failsome quest?

Must Fly...that has a lot of possibilities. I'll guess Chris's team when they were riding on the broomstick.

Series 8, episode 10 (I think?): "Deal with it".

I tend to avoid watching things with Deal in the title.

I take it you're referring specifically to the post-Short Cut victory; because if we could deal with the final episode of Knightmare, would we be here?
Of mine, 31, 33, 34, 38 and 39 have been correctly guessed. 35 refers to a dungeoneer and a character and a general departure.
