Yeah but you can't say that - what the replies show here is that what the dungeoneer said was possibly polite, so your comparison doesn't work!

By saying "If it helps..." he was being assertive and helpful, saving his team-mates the bother and time required to give unnecessary directions. He wasn't being rude, and in fact I often wish that other dungeoneers could be as pro-active.

By the way, am I the only one who gets the impression that Sidriss fancied him?

And she deffinatly didn't sound to happy that he had to leave.

Didn't Martin (t11s3) say something like "speak up I can't hear you!"

When Alistair (t2s4) was going down the well when the assassin reappeared and his advisers were all shouting in a panic for him to hurry up, it sounded to me like he said something like "I can't go any faster!"

Don't forget Julie and her ever so kind thoughtful advisers "say hello to the goblins Julie and ask them if the'd like a present"

I noticed this too, Skarkill. I'm sure the team did too, as I believe they originally laughed after Sidriss left the screen. For some reason, though, it cut from Sidriss leaving to the team guiding Alan out the room on Challenge, via an advert break. Not sure why, possibly for timing reasons.
Edit: Anyway, adding to a list of Arrogant, Stressy, Chatty, Saircastic, Witty and/or Civilized dungeoneers/advisors, I'd have to nominate Series 6 Team 7's Chris from today, who after a bit of faffing around about with path to take from the advisors, he shouted 'WHICH DIRECTION?'! You tell em, Chris!
