Encodeing knightmare to divx

Hi all

Well I will have the first knightmare ep encoded to divx tommorow night if you are intrested in keeping a good quality copy of it you can get it from edonkey p2p network there is already a test encode of a knightmare ep for you to see.

Well, it doesn't actually DIScourage it either, but nonetheless, Octocom, it's best to be discreet about any form of recording piracy. If you want to advertise, it's not a good move to do so on the forums.

I thought is would be ok as its an old 80's show its not like its a new blockbuster film I just wanted other people to enjoy the show who dont have sky tv.

Unfortunately, it's still illegal. The problem is that people take these recordings, burn them to CD/DVD, and then attempt to profit by selling them on eBay.

As someone without Sky, I'd love to be able to tell you to go ahead; however, it's been decided by the operators of this forum that it can't be condoned. To echo what someone else has said, be discreet.

Yes, the idea is to be discreet. I have no problems with people disussing the issue of tape piracy or encoding on the forum, as it helps everyone understand the issues. Obviously we don't condone the availability of such items.
