Thanks to Clive Ashenden, Producer/Director of Snatching Time for this heads up:

The Zone Horror Frightfest 2006 [www.frightfest.co.uk], is held at the Odeon West End cinema in London and runs from 25th - 28th August 2006. Showing 24 horror features and numerous shorts, it is a treat for any horror fan.

But of particular interest for UK based fans of Hugo Myatt, the legend who was Treguard the Dungeonmaster is one film screening on Sunday 27th August at 11.15am - "Snatching Time"

This will be the UK premiere of the director's cut of "Snatching Time";. A short horror/comedy starring Hugo Myatt as the psychopathic Bob Snatcher. This screening accompanies the horror feature "Broken";. It is hoped that Hugo will be able to attend the screening but as yet I cannot confirm this.

Weekend Passes (for all four days) are still available to buy via the Odeon West End box office or from the Odeon website [www.odeon.co.uk] although numbers are now limited.

Tickets for the individual screening of "Snatching Time & "Broken"; will be available to buy at the same place from August 1st.

For photographs, and an account of the making of "Snatching Time"; please check out the Sick Puppy Films blog at - http://sickpuppyfilms.blogspot.com/

Hey all!

Just though I'd let you know that I have seen snatching time.

I really rather liked it!

It was great to hear Hugo Myatts booming voice again.

I thought it was really good.

It's on youtube if anyone else fancies a look...

Thanks for that. That's easily one of the wierdest, but also funniest movies i've ever seen.

What a brilliant idea for a gameshow! :o Hugo Myatt is on fine form as always.

"Anthea!"

Hugo looks creepy as heck with the beard off. All to the good for a film like this! ;) ;D

And if, like me, you're a bit of a nutter and like that sort of thing, here are the lyrics to the theme song.

Snatching time
It’s what we’re here for
Snatching time
It’s what we cheer for
Snatching time
We shed a tear for
Snatching time

Snatching time
We’re gomnna catch it
Snatching time
Nothing can match it
Snatching time
Tune in and catch it
Snatching time

Anthea
She is to die for
Anthea
And soon we cry for
Anthea
And soon we try for
anthea

Bobby’s here
He’s such a dazzler
Bobby’s here
Our favourite gangster
Bobby’s here
And so go mad for
Snatching time

Snatching time
Are you a player
Snatching time
It’s gonna slay ya
Snatching time
So say your prayers
Snatching time

BRILLIANT!

It's what happens when Hugo Myatt gets posessed by Lord Fear....

There's some clever nudges to Knightmare in there too, what with the girl saying "Where am I?" amongst other things. Although I would have liked Hugo to say "Ooooh Nasty!" when he killed the other guy off.

Yeah, I would have liked an Oooh Nasty, but alas.

I did really enjoy Snatching Time.

Might have to watch it again this evening...

That was very clever, but crikey! Not used to seeing Hugo Myatt looking quite so manic...

...and a touch heavy on the rouge too ;)
