In April, David Learner (Pickle) tweeted a photo from his time as a Countdown contestant!


David's first game was on 7th February 1986. He won it 54-46. His second appearance was 10th February and he lost 25-43. There are more details here in the Countdown wiki.

I hope we get to see the episodes one day.

I see him looking at the camera and all I can think is "I say you lot... bog off."

It's always so interesting to see actors from our favourite shows before we knew them...

I was amazed at how long he said it took them to make him look like Pickle each day - wasn't it something like 1.5 hours?!
