Has anyone got the sound of the "goblin siren"

Post by sodemo »

Hi,

After enjoying Knightmare so much throughout my youth, I watched the two episodes on Challenge! the other day and certainly brought back many memories.

I was just wondering if anyone had a sound sample of the goblin horn or goblin siren that used to be heard when they were approaching?

That always used to scare the crap out of me, though thankfully now at 22 im not so timid!

Cheers.

This is one clip on this site that the goblin horn features on. If you hunt around in the clips section you should find a few more too. :)

The sound of it scared the hell out of me too.

Just to note, the above link is a video clip. Hope that's okay. :)

I thought I'd mentioned that one enough! Oh, the joy. Go on, offer the little stinkers a present, Julie!

The three sound of Knightmare I loved soo much: Goblin hunting horn, wolves howling and the theme song... I just watched the goblins video  ;D actually on the tape that has the part reads: Say hello to the goblins Julie  :)

I liked the horn sound at the end of Series 3 - it's scary and slightly unnerving, and made for a great ending. The negative colour distortion (which rubbed off on Treguard's face!) was less so.

well, I have .WAVs of it.
I just take my sounds from the tv using Pinnacle PCTV Rave and Microsoft Sounds Recorder, edited on Nero Wave Editor.

I've used it in my new Knightmare game creation when you hang about in a room for too long, it's either goblin horn, or pooka comes to get you!!

interested?

Email me and perhaps I give you sample, or password to level 3-
but what you have to offer me in return?
haha...
Keep a look out for my Knew Knightmare PC game!!

Sound Clips

Post by bluetoothpick »

Hey there guys,

Nice to "meet" you all!

Does anyone have, or know where I can find, any sound clips the show?

I'm particularly interested in the goblin horn sound and some of Treguard's catchphrases.

Your help would be really appreciated.
