i hid behind the sofa today
hehe, 19 years old and im still hiding behind the sofa at ariadne's lair. actually, i went into the kitchen to hide. frank thought i was hilarious. i think i might have to kill him.
and i was jumping up and down screaming at the corridoor of blades. 'side step right, no faster, again, faster, argh, noooooooooo'. and when they just kinda said 'oh, we died...'
who else hid behind their sofa recently?

Re: i hid behind the sofa today
Well.. not quite.. but I croutched up on the sofa and just peeked out between the knees at it. I've rehearsed the corridor of blades so well in my head that I just shut my eyes.. and knew the exact second (timings from advisor's shouts) he was about to become no more, and just sunk my head.
I think the Red Dragon incident, end of S6 always rattles me the most. Haunts me for days, that - still. Hordriss' interruption, the creepy music... the swishing of the wings - and Treguard's panic and urgency. Wonderful how they shot it down... absolutely wonderful. KaM

Re: i hid behind the sofa today
I could never bear to watch dungeoneers tackle the causeways in series 5 - I always jumped out of my skin when one perished because it was so sudden. (Back then, of course, it didn't occur to me to look out for the camera cutting back to the advisors being the sign that a death was imminent!)
Subject to change.

Gotta send our our Floating White Skull after you... Just wondering but why are you posting a semi-negative message on a Knightmare forum... You're just asking for trouble...

i dont think meph meant knightmare was bad, just that he doesn't find it particuly scary anymore...or perhaps never did.
each to their own, as long as he likes the show and has signed the petition he cant be that bad

Well, dearies, we could just let Festus decide whether the Mephisto deserves to be mauled. After all, Festus is free of all prejudice- he eats everyone equally.Quick get GG, I think Festus has a job to do!! ;D

Re: i hid behind the sofa today
KM hasn't caused me to rush out the room since 1991.
Anyway the Series 6 ending was scary. The dragon in flight and Treguard/Pickle's urging the team to hurry was incredibly tense.
Nothing beat the sheer horror of finding out Mrs G was actually a man though.

I kno this is random and completely unrelated, but can you get King Pot Noodles in sweet and sour flavour? I'm eating one as I type but I didn't think you could get them. Never seen them before. This one was given to me by guy me and my mates met at a campsite. Really strange. It wasn't open and it tastes ok...*suspicious*

Indeed you can. Myself and my sister have a pot noodle every week, except she's allergic to peanuts. So while I get the cheaper, "may con tain traces of peanut" Asda-brand pot, she gets the commercial-brand pot. Only this week my mother accidentally picked up a King Pot in Sweet and Sour flavour for my sister, which I wasn't too pleased about.

Ahh, whereas i prefer the supa noodles (chicken flavour) to graze on whilst hiding behind the sofa or watching knightmare though my fingers.
I believe it's the fact that they're bright yellow that attracted me first...

Re: i hid behind the sofa today
If your going to eat super noodles they should be bacon or mild curry!
Thats a point, wouldnt it be funny if these types of food were available as food in Knightmare!
"Whats on the table?"
"Gold, Gem stone, Potion.....and a Pot Noodle"
"Right put the Pot Noodle in yer knapsack, Pickle put on the kettle for us wudja!"
