Klassic Knightmare.com...
Have just been looking through archive.org's well... archive of Knightmare.com, interesting how the site has changed over the last few years. This is the one I was looking at...
http://web.archive.org/web/200109220306 ... tmare.com/
I remember the page when it was like that (allthough I wasn't a regular visitor back then. Its great how they capture an old site. You can even read the old forum messages.
This is the complete web archive list of Knightmare.com...
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://knightmare.com
They only start at 2001 though.
[Edit: How COULD I forget to start the title with a K?

Ah, the bi-annual Web Archive thread
Actually, if you use the older www.knightmare.clara.net address, you can go back to 1999:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www ... .clara.net
Personally I preferred the pre-September 2002 look...but eh, I've warmed to the knewer one too. Those old forum posts certainly bring back memories...shame you can only read the subject titles though!

Ahhhh, memories!!Before you ask... There are NO games on this site
>
Look where that got us!Your responses to my question about the chat room indicates the majority of you would prefer to chat on Sunday evenings. The first 'Knightmare Chat' will therefore be on Sunday 10th October from 8pm. If all goes well, I will advertise another day and time in the next update on Monday 11th. See you there!
The chat room address is: http://chat.ukchat.com/java.asp?room=knightmare. It takes a little while to load.
*snip*
More details soon on how to take part in a live interactive adventure game (in the chat room), which is being written by Adam Battersby.

And guess what- 10th October will also be on a Sunday this year. So, next month, I presume we'll be celebrating 5 years of KM Chat!

Re:Classic Knightmare.com...
I wonder... would it be possible to have the flaming torches back again on the km.com front page, please? There was always the hearth in the series - having the torches here gives the feeling that the torches are being carried by us fans, so to speak. I'm a sentimental old so-and-so.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Subject to change.

Re:Klassic Knightmare.com...
Hmm, interesting looking back at the old site design. Kringe.
The flaming torches? I'll think about that one. It was removed when the site was redesigned as I felt generic animated gifs were a bit out of fashion now, but thinking about it I could stick it on the end of the menu bar perhaps, but only those with a screen resolution of 1024*768 or higher would see it.
BTW I'm working on the knext site update today and tomorrow so expect one in next few days.

Er there is a flaming torch at the bottom of the navigation. I'm using 1024x768 screen resolution and I can see it.

If You Screen resolution is lower than 1024x768 (i.e. 800x600) and you can't see the torch then you could try changing the text size on your browser, making it smaller to see if you could see the torch.
