When Julian Clary and Gloria Hunniford were talking about Shane Richie's hair Gloria remarked, "Ooh, nasty!"

Ah, Snowwiewolf, the 8th most plentiful poster on this forum! Welcome back!
There was indeed a robot called Knightmare on Robot Wars five years ago. And one called Skeletron as well, I believe...

Wasn't Skeletron the one from Techno Games that took part in the rope climb?
Good night out there; whatever you are!

I don't think they'd ever had an interest in cornish brickwork unless you count them howling at it... Lo, Snowwie, how's Snowwie?

Series 3 Martin's devil's-coach-horse on Eggheads!
This post is in recollection of a post make by Andrew Buckley Back In The Day, entitled "Series 3 Martin's devil's-coach-horse on WWTBAM!"
I can't recall myself whether the Millionaire contestant got the question right, but it was a well-spotted reference (and just the sort of thing to put in the forum, actually!)
Anyway, today's edition of Eggheads once again featured the devil's-coach-horse (for the uninformed, a beetle, mentioned to dungeoneer Martin by Owen in a riddle to earn dragon magic), again in a multiple choice question. This time, however, the person being asked the question got it right.
That person, an Egghead, happened to be... Millionaire winner Judith Keppel.

Re: Knightmare references
On University Challenge last night, when Jeremy Paxman asked what type of tree Yggdrasil (the World Tree - as mentioned in two Knightmare books) is, I allowed myself to believe he was saying my username. It's an ash. He then asked what two letters make up the character ash. Thanks to the Ægis Quest FAQ, I knew the answer.
