Returning dungeoneer
Hi all, I'm new to this forum (which I came across thru a search engine). I appeared on Knightmare in 1991/92 (it's been so long now I can't remember!), when I was 14/15 years of age. But I do have really fond memories of the whole experience (from the auditions, to satying up in Norwich 4 a week, filmimg etc and having a load of FUN along the way) and they'll stay with me forever. btw I wouldn't call myself a fanatic fan of the show or anything but I wish they'd bring it back! Anyone else here been on the show...?

Re:Returning dungeoneer
There are now plans to bring the show back, whether it gets comissioned is another story.
Which team where you on? (other team members?)

Re:Returning dungeoneer
Judging by the post she made in the guestbook, it appears to be Sumayya from Series 6! Oliver, the last dungeoneer of Series 8, also signed the guestbook recently.

I didn't want to mention my name but yeah you're right
I was just looking at the web site and found that it was series 6 (1992) I was on and we were Team 2. You can imagine my shock when I saw my picture on the screen :oLOL

Re:Returning dungeoneer
Welcome to the forums, nice to have another actual dungeoneer within our ranks. A few other dungeoneers have appeared around here too, enjoy the chat and such.

Thanks for all the pleasant welcomes.

Well, hmmm...it was pretty much expected
It was our fault for missing a vital clue in Level 2. When you come across a group of objects you can only pick 2, right? Well for some reason beforehand we had all decided that we would take a gem along with something else (good for trading we thought). This made us overlook what the riddle on the scroll was indicating - amber (cos the witches only trade with amber). There was an amber necklace there but we didn't even think of taking it
The other object we took was correct - a potion - that helped Sidriss (Houdrass's daughter). Well what finally happened was that the witches did not give us the password we needed in order to get past the Dreadnort and I eventually got torn limb from limb
Looking back I cringe to think how dumb we were but hey at least we got the chance to be on it, everything else was brill!

As an old hand at dungeoneering - would you consider taking part in the new series if you were eligable?

Just one thing...I was a bit astonished when I noticed that most people on this forum are pretty young (teens to early twenties). So how did you guys get into Knightmare? How old were you when it was on? Because it ended in 1994 I guess I was expecting most people here to be in their late twenties early thirties as they'd have grown up with the show...

I loved the show when I was little - I only saw the later series but remember Pickle distinctly
Welcome to our little corner, Sumaya - hope you enjoy it here. Must be quite nice knowing you're famous, despite it being amongst a very select group
