in Ross's quest she fell into a pit and was probably kidnapped by Morghana, Ross never saved her so how do you explain her getting back into the game?

I am not aware that she was even kidnapped by Morghanna...There again, how did Folly get his laugh back in S2? Make up whatever you wish!

I suspect Mellisandre spellcast a LADDER spell, and Folly spellcast HUMOUR.

The answer I give in my fanfic is that Motley was sent in to rescue Mellisandre when Ross failed... hence her growing attachment to the jester.
