Mellisandre
in Ross's quest she fell into a pit and was probably kidnapped by Morghana, Ross never saved her so how do you explain her getting back into the game?
Also in another S3 quest she said that an old man had given her a message, could it have been Merlin?

Yes, the old man was Merlin.
How did she get away from Morghanna? I haven't a clue.

Re:Mellisandre
I am not aware that she was even kidnapped by Morghanna...There again, how did Folly get his laugh back in S2? Make up whatever you wish!

Re:Mellisandre
I suspect Mellisandre spellcast a LADDER spell, and Folly spellcast HUMOUR.

The answer I give in my fanfic is that Motley was sent in to rescue Mellisandre when Ross failed... hence her growing attachment to the jester.

I hope that your not two-timing between Mellisandre and Sidriss, Motley.

Re:Mellisandre
The same way a dungeoneer would, perhaps - with foreknowledge, support from Merlin and Treguard, a useful spell and careful timing.

I don't think he was brave enough to! He certainly, I doubt would've done to Morghanna, what he did to Ariadne.

Re:Mellisandre
I think it would have been quite amusing to have had Morghana and Motley in a duel of wit, and offensive language, just like Cedric and Folly in series 1 episode 7!
