We've had a lot of fun making the series over the past 6 years, but what do I really think of it? Find out now in Jake's Throwback Reviews!

Episode: Series 2, Episode 12
Original Release Date: 20th June 2015
Throwback Review Date: 18th April 2016
Score: 3 out of 5 (good)

The Good: Stacey's team has a good group dynamic; Zoe Okere in particular sounds very natural and engaging. Elita's inability to insult anyone was an idea that went through several stages of development, and here Amy Davies employs her quite excellent vocal skills to bring the final concept to life so engagingly and amusingly.

The Bad: There are a couple of things that slipped through the net in this one. Stiletta's number four actually has a green blade rather than a green handle. The not-quite-scanning riddles irk me slightly. I bet the toast Elita gave to Stacey was horribly cold and soggy.

Saying that Festus is being shown on-screen to the advisors is a step too far for me. Obviously none of the Audio Series is real in any way, but this scene is trying to create the fantasy world in which Knightmare takes place with the team members as an integral part of that world, rather than trying to evoke the lovely fantasy/reality mix with the team members based on the reality side. The same is true of Stacey's assertion that she can't see herself when she's supposedly become invisible.

Conclusion: This episode has several iffy bits in my opinion, but it also has more than enough saving graces to keep it in the “good” category.
