Re: The Day the Night Slept
That's awesome - it's an incredibly catchy song, and I love the range of vocal styles and the instrumentalism behind it all. Basing it on the Hatoful series is appropriately insane! Yes, it was good to hear Hugo doing a bit as well - at one point, I thought I'd missed out on a Knightmare reference a...

Re: Knightmare urban myths
That's a rumour. It's unsubstantiated, and I'm not sure anyone in the production team would remember, seeing as how it was so long ago. Maybe Akash's team know, but as to find them ... Anyway, my guess would be that this is true. My reasons for this are: (i) Having a dungeoneer death as early as the...

Re: The KM Top 10 of Everything
My favourite series have changed radically over time, but in best-to-worst order, as they currently stand: 1. Series 7 - a nice range of characters, some wonderful floor puzzles, very atmospheric setting, and some entertaining teams. The last two winning quests made for fantastic and gripping viewin...

Re: Series 3 - Episode 3
I believe it was unfair that the team should have known to dispell the DANCE spell on McGrew. Instead of dancing around the room yelling unintelligible babble, why wasn't he grabbing hold of the dungeoneer, clealry begging for the spell to be lifted in exchange for help? This is something that I ag...

That's well-written and very reminiscent of the gamebooks, specifically the first one. Nice find!
I died three times before managing to finish it.

Though if it was an error, it was hardly the size of Jupiter's Great Red Spot. Interestingly, since I made the faux pas of confusing the size of Jupiter's Great Red Spot with that of the planet itself, scientists have made note of the width of the Spot decreasing. It's now about 1.3 Earths in diame...

Re: Series 5 Episode 15 (Fri. 21st)
I've been wondering about that. Some teams count out loud as the Descender goes past levels, and whether or not they are counting windows, I'm wondering if the production team realise what they are doing and giving them safe passage because they understood what they were meant to do (whether or not ...

While that may be true if you're referencing Superman: Emperor Joker, I'd be more inclined to expect him in Batman... considering that he's Batman's arch-nemesis.Mashibinbin wrote: ↑12 Aug 2020, 17:23 The Joker's more likely to turn up in Superman than a game of Snap I'd say.

If you call snap because there is a snap, then you take all the cards, right?
If the joker is a wild card, then you can call snap whenever he is played, thus being able to take all the cards.
I think that's what he meant.

Mary Miller
It's sad to hear of the loss of Mary Miller, especially after the relief of finding out that she didn't really die in 1998, as IMDb erroneously reported imdb provides the information, she passed away in 1998: and was eventually corrected It seems that was a mistake made by the IMDB. That death date ...

Re: On the identities of quest objects
I'd argue that the crown was possibly that of Charlemagne who held a mythical status in many European countries that resonates in some form to the present day. I like this interpretation. I assumed at the time (and continue to assume) that the name of the quest object was the "Crown in Glory&q...

Re: Clue objects they shouldn't have left behind
I've always been interested in the item choices of Series 2, Team 7. There were given a hint (told outright, really) that they needed a bone to give to Mildread, which they didn't have. However, she did nevertheless accept the potion named "Potion" in its stead, which I found odd. She also...

Re: Series 4 Episode 6
Mixed performance against Dooris. They got away with a mistake. A man-of-war is a jellyfish, not actually a fish. Actually, it's neither! The Portuguese man o'war is a siphonophore - effectively a colony of organisms living together as one - as opposed to being a true jellyfish (which is a single o...
