Just about captured it, but I am still waiting for my room internet access to be enabled. (I am posting from a 24 hour IT suite).

Couldn't agree more, thanks very much Bli for the time and effort taken to show us these animations, it is much appreciatedMalefact wrote: Thanks very much indeed for going to so much time and trouble. It's been marvellous for me (and, I'm sure, everyone else here) to get such a fascinating insider's view.![]()

Re:original title sequence ...
Right I've captured and uploaded a version. Unfortunately Windows Movie Maker decided to play sillies towards the end of the clip.

I shall try and capture it in a better format at a later date.

Re:original title sequence ...
thanks, thats great ...
Did you capture directly to wmv?
What iused to do was capture to some other format, one will little compression then convert to wmv later using the windows media converter, but not bad at all for a 2mb file, cheers ...
you can spot the drawings I've got a little easier now
if you have trouble converting the file to wmv from a larger file and have the means to upload the large file then i'll convert it for you if you want
Cheers
Billy

Re:original title sequence ...
I do have a higher/better quality mpeg version of the file (it's taken me this long to work out why I wasn't able to capture sound properly). The file is 11.5Mb if anyone is interested.
*looks at remaining bandwidth*
Right I'll put the clip online for the next few days if anyone wants it, and then after 1/11 I'll take it offline and if you want it the PM me.

EDIT: Clip loads in RealPlayer - not sure about other media players.

Re:original title sequence ...
:) :)Hey there! Brill website!
3 years ago, Drassil wondered about that prisoner in the 1-3 series titles- Is it a troll? Hmm... A mystery. I've watched the titles loads of times here r my opinions of what it could be:
A dwarf
A dungeoneer that got trapped years ago
An early drawing of Sylvester 'Ands
Just Treguard peering through outside to scare the Knight
Sum1 pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz give me a reply of what you think it could be- i will be gr8ful :)

Hello, Tom. You're talking about this thread, one of the first I ever started (three years ago, not two
). Perhaps getting in touch with 'bli' directly (via his website) could lead you to more information on the mystery creature, if there is any.

Knightmare: Kid-worthy, Naasty, Inspiring, Groundbreaking, Humorous, Treguard, Mesmerising, Adult-worthy, Rewarding, Essential.

Hehe ... you referring to the guy behind bars in the original titles? ... I'm not sure who he was, although i was told it was me by one of the guys ... :o
But I reckon it was LLoyd Sutton, one of the animators that worked there
.. sorry LLoyd, wherever you are

Re:original title sequence ...
It was a long time ago, but I think it took the team about 2 weeks ... but like i say, t'was a long time ago, afore computers were used ... was all drawn on paper and painted on cels and special effects were done with camera trickery, no adobe after effects then ...
