Parody of It Must Have Been Love by Roxette

Post by Drassil »

About the two teams who failed to use the armourer's gauntlet in the bomb room. Based on It Must Have Been Love by Roxette (1987). Video, lyrics.

I've previously parodied The Look by Roxette.

This isn't the forum's first song parody about a bomb room. Credit for that goes to Emii and her reworking of Bohemian Rhapsody - 15 years ago this week.

You must use the glove, or it's over now

[Team 1 of Series 2]
We've no toads' legs for old Mildread
Leave the witch there in her room
Makes me lonely, there's scares and silence
In the bomb room, with my doom
Should've used the gauntlet then
But knew no way

We did have a glove, but it's over now
We wanted knighthood, but we lost it somehow
We did have a glove, but it's over now
We were pretty much stuffed when the fuse had burnt down

[Team 8 of Series 3]
Low achieving: heavy weather's
What we're making of our quest
Motley's bathing with no water
There's a snake there, we're not stressed
And this is no winner's day
We walk away

No armourer's glove, so it's over now
We wanted knighthood, but we lost it somehow
No armourer's glove, so it's over now
It's where the hand goes
Or else the bomb blows

We did have a glove, but it's over now
We wanted knighthood, but we lost it somehow
We did have a glove, but it's over now
We were pretty much ****ed when the fuse had burnt down

No armourer's glove, so it's over now
It's lost with no gauntlet, and they're sending us out
No armourer's glove, so it's over now
It's where the hand goes
Or else the bomb blows

No armourer's glove, so it's over now
We b**gered it up, so it's over now

great one.
Cedric kneed down close to my helmet so i could see him and told me.
"You're not witless. You're just nice. Too nice really for your own good. That's your main problem."
