Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
Back to the topic when does this petition end? I can't get onto the site to see the count so I was wandering if it has already ended then.

Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
The petition closes on the 15th I think.
Last time I checked it was about 987 (not sure about that, though). I'm quite sure that it will exceed 1000 before the closing date arrives.

Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
It's working now.
Yep, it ends the 15th of August, and currently has 991 signatures. Please sign if you haven't already, especially since the removal of any silly signatures will decrease the current count somewhat.

Ah. That's a point. I'd forgotten about the possibility of dummy signitures. I may be being cynical, but I suspect the number of signitures will decrease drastically after they are removed. :(

Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
It shouldn't be too bad really, there cant be that many because only people that go to the site (i.e. Knightmare fans) see the link and would probably go and sign it legitimately, it's not like the link's being spammed all over the internet...Ah. That's a point. I'd forgotten about the possibility of dummy signitures. I may be being cynical, but I suspect the number of signitures will decrease drastically after they are removed. :(

hrmmm....1023 right now.
that said there are going to be a couple of "micky mouse" i guess. then from memory ive seen two cases of someone signing three times in a row (probs by accidentally pressing refresh or somthing)
on the whole i dont think the sigs will need a lot of pruning (thank god )
Kepp going peeps, we've got 8 days left! Check meh sig!

Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
Well, now that the petition has in excess of 1000 signatures, that means that there is a buffer to absorb dummy signatures that may just keep the corrected total above 1000.

Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
For the first time in ages, I just looked at how some of the other petitions are doing. I knew we should have gone into partnership with the "The Swiss Are Eating Their Own Dogs!" petition! You can rest assured no-one from Switzerland is going anywhere near Festus, athough he's not really a dog, blah blah blah don't know what he is etc. etc. etc. In "popularity" terms, we've slipped behind "Beast as a Possible Homosexual" too. Oh shame of shame.

Re: Knightmare DVD Petition
newer = more popular i think. i mean we had a huge popularity when illusion sent out a msg to all members and were top dog for a while.
whats pleasing is we're one of the few non-animal rights petition in the top 20.
*does another back-up*
