Re: We need a social-type forum...
I wish you'd said that before. I can make a board using ASP code and host it on my own server - I'd have more control than a free board from a provider, and plus, no ads whatsoever!
Give me a day or two, and I'll create you a board the likes of which you've never seen before!

Re: We need a social-type forum...
That also sounds like a good idea. There may still be other people with suggestions, so I think the fairest way would be to have a quick vote/poll on which forum people most prefer once all the options are known.I wish you'd said that before. Let's give it a week for people to come up with proposals, so we'll do a poll next weekend.

Re: We need a social-type forum...
I am glad to finally see a general forum elsewhere, as I mentioned it about 2 months ago *chokes*. Not that it erm was read very much, it would seem......Here is to a good social reform then!

Re: We need a social-type forum...
hey im on the Challenge forum, username = WhiteDevil.. Some of the people there are a bit immature yeah, but us sane people just remember to use the forum how it was meant and we'll gain a lot more respect from the people at Challenge...
Respect = Listen to what we have to say = Knightmare

Re: We need a social-type forum...
I looked at the Challenge forum with a view to joining, but only really for the Knightmare threads, but then decided that i'd rather not have the company of pre-pubescent boys who feel they need to litter their threads with abuse and swear words in an effort to sound grown up and macho.
It's much nicer here ;)

Re: We need a social-type forum...
I just wrote a whole post on how nice this forum was and how we only need one good moderator (Illusion) who is never needed to break up abusive posters...but the stupid server wiped it.
