Re: Knightmare related
Just digging for an old topic and whilst doing though saw this which reminded me of my train journey to (Great Yarmouth) Norwich. Whilst on the train stopped to pick up passangers at Diss station I happened to notice on the side of a small building like a hut or something in large multi coloured letters, the word NEWBIE

Re: Knightmare related
Whilst looking at biblical names I spotted these.
Dorcas: Derived from greek Dorkas meaning Gazelle. In the new testament this is the greek translation of Tabitha.
How inapt, a Gazelle
Festus: Roman cognoman ( What? ) which possibly ment festival holiday in latin. Also the name of a roman official in the new testament.
Ive a bad memory and theres bound to be some in the list that I missed, so if anyone else whats to take a look the URL is http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/bibl.html

There's a wee shop in my town called Merlin's Way. It sells unicorn, fairy and wizard ornamants, crystals, witchcraft-type books, that sorta thing. Yeah, I know there was the Merlin of Arthurian legend before the Merlin we all know and love, but it still counts as KM related! ;D

All the streets in my neighbourhood are named after places from Lord Of The Rings (read it once and don't like it, though). My road is called Gandalf's Ride. My old primary school is just down the road and is called Chetwood School.

Subject to change.

My Primary School was called Oaklands, which is kinda like Oakley if you close ya left eye and squint a bit at it.
Also if you remove the ands and add 'ey' instead.
The spiders werent as big as ariadne either.

I don't think so. There was a Spirit of Nightmare, but I don't think that it had the 'K' in front of Nightmare. But, there was a robot (on the New Blood, for anybody who has watched it) called Mr Nasty. And there was that robot in Robot Wars a few years ago called Knightmare.
I also remember somebody from my primary school called Barry (but not that Barry though).

I'm ressurrecting this thread because I was listening to the rugby league match between Great Britain and Australia, and I kept thinking I heard the name "Heggaty" mentioned. (The name is actually Hegarty).

There's a new coach company that's called Talisman Coaches, or something to that effect. I know it's Talisman something though!
