Re: What is your earliest memory Of KM?
My earliest memory of KM was from the first death of Series 3 (the first I'd seen of it), where my fellow Scot sank into the green bog! I remember seeing a preview for KM a few days before S3 started - I liked what I saw and I think that's why I started watching it. ;D

Thinking about it, I may have seen some of Season 1 first time round. That 4-door room with the 2 locks at the back doors that Team 4 were in just before the bomb room where they died does seem mighty familiar (and I mean familiar with the keyholes, not in the multiple other times the room's appeared
)...

I can remember the quest where they freed the maid. What one was that?
And the bomb rooms/Lillith/Wheel of fortune as well.

Watching the pilot episode in '87 and feeling unsure whether it was a gameshow or a series satirising "The Adventure Game". The way that the first dungeoneer said, "I seek knighthood" was so forced it left me thinking for some while that the whole thing was scripted, and not just the set pieces.

There was the first ever winning quest of Series 2 Team 4 (Mark Wickson) as well as another attempt in the form of Series 3 Team 6 (Ross Dennis)I can remember the quest where they freed the maid. What one was that?

I started watching during series 7. I recall team 2's death for not having the nightsight, and the green Hordriss also rings a bell.

Re: What is your earliest memory Of KM?
I saw KM from episode 1 but not sure how I knew about it as I was a BBC watcher rather than a CITV watcher. Shows how old I am but I can remember the day CITV started. All my mates were real excited and went home and watched the first day of CITV, where as boring old me went home and stuck to BBC.
Anyway first memories of KM
Mildread is my first charecter memory ( Besides Treguard )
Closely followed by Folly and Mogdred
The serpants tounge room
The room where fires rise from the floor on each side
Wellways
Igneous and the other early wall monsters
My first team memory is the team that tried to cast the wrong spell on Mogdred. the long one insted of the short one. Sorry spell names escaped me now.

Re: What is your earliest memory Of KM?
This was in Series 4, and the spells were TRANSFORMATION and BUT (or BUTT). It may forever be a puzzle what each of these uncast spells would have done; the idea of Mogdred being beaten is incredible...My first team memory is the team that tried to cast the wrong spell on Mogdred. the long one instead of the short one. Sorry spell names escaped me now.

I think the BUT spell had somehting to do with what Mogdred said: I consider your presence here a personal insult!

Earliest memories:- Hiding behind the sofa at my Grans during the trial by spikes in series 2 (I think the 'talisman quest completion) although the 1st season strikes chords in me here and there.
Best memories:- Conning one me mothers work colleagues to tape the series 3/4 challenge? repeats and seeing Knightmare for the first time in high-res having made do with the clips @ knightmare.com for so long.... "Enter stranger..... Welcome home...."
Sounds cheesy, yes, but surely we've all been there and your spotting details that you remember from later phases of the dungeon and thinking "So THAT'S how it began!".
It's like meeting an old friend from long ago....

There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

Earliest memory: jumping on Radza (my toy tiger) and yelling at the Dreadnaught, that commanded the password from Naila (I think it was series 6 )
