Re:Here's a mad idea...
good. if you hurried it, level 3 could just be level 1 and 2 rooms re-used and that would never do...
it'll be good playing it in winter when its cold and dark. ooo scary

Take all the time needed, I think the grolsh approach is a good one. I look forward to the game (hopefully I won't be saying ooh nasty the moment I begin)
The only way is onward, there is no turning back. Oooh nasty, didn't realise the road ended there!

Oh goody. A non commercial game going by the standards the commercial game world should be going by. Well, commercially there is the occasional 'when it's ready', but most of those are by the smaller companies (eg, Lionhead).

As for the game, just keep plodding away - it will be all the more satisfying when you finally finish...for everyone concerned.

Re:Here's a mad idea...
Oh, I played Black and White. And it's a great game. The reason people, for the most part, don't think much part is that they developed the concept about 70 degrees angular from the direction people were expecting them to take. I hear Black and White 2 will be more in line with what people expected Black and White 1 to be than an actual sequel.

Found this topic again, and just wanted to find out how this was coming along, I can't wait to have a go!
Now, I don't like to gloat...what am I saying? I can't believe I just said that, dear me, what a little fibber I am. Of course I like to gloat...love it, something of a hobby.

Re:Here's a mad idea...
What with Keke's super little game appearing out of the blue, and people still showing interest, I thought I'd be courteous and say hello to you all.
Believe it or not, the project is still in development. I'm actually developing the editor as the finished product, so that you can all make your own adventures and share them around. I will have my own adventure ship with the editor, which will demonstrate what the package can do, and which will hopefully incorporate all the cool mad ideas you've outlined here.
So, er... I'll keep you posted.
Regards
