Re: Favourite Treguard catchphrase?
Lol, I know the one about the sword isn't a catchphrase, but I just thought I'd mention it because it was an ad-lib.
Btw, I think it's best when Treguard says "Ooh...nasty!" in a loud voice (like when Daniel got sliced in the Corridor of Blades).

A close-run thing, but number 5, and it's sister catchphrase "Game on!"
I now say that before every game I play.

Okay then. I'll add "Game on..." to the list of catchphrases.
We should leave the thread running till Monday 22nd of March. Then we'll tot up the votes and announce the winner.
Sound good, everybody?

I like "Game On" a lot too, but less for the catchphrase than for what Hugo usually does with his eyes as he says it. Hard to explain. You know what I mean when you watch him.A close-run thing, but number 5, and it's sister catchphrase "Game on!"
I now say that before every game I play.
"Sometimes of the Grey, but always of the Green, dearie. Shurrup Brollachan! Have you seen Festus, my dear? I need to take him back to Cornwall. " [cackle]

Yes, lifting his hands as he sits down in his chair, booming out the catchphrase. I do the similar movements when I say it, too.

Re: Favourite Treguard catchphrase?
no. 4 for me.
If this was never called, we would never have a quest!
Then again Majida did decide to knick it + staff later on... (little gypsy thief that she was!)

There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

I'd call you weird, except I've probably done similar things. Well, putting on La Grimwold's voice is probably worse, actually, although I -know- I'm not the only one to have done that occasionally.Yes, lifting his hands as he sits down in his chair, booming out the catchphrase. Re: Favourite Treguard catchphrase?
Obviously my favourite is 6; it's quite simply the best catchphrase! And we all know it's going to come tops.
But I'm voting for 1, I really liked it. Treguard hardly ever said it after series 2, and I think it was a pity.

I like my telly scary, and very dungeonish.

I'm going to vote for 4 "Enter, Stranger"
Don't know why, I guess I just don't want to vote for "ooo, nasty" which I never thought was that good...

Re: Favourite Treguard catchphrase?
Okay folks, I've totted up the votes as best I can and it appears to be a tie between the two most frequent lines...
"Oooooh nasty!" and
"Oh dear, what a pity, never mind."
So those two are the official "uber-Treguard lines", and the others are all consigned to the rejects dustbin of history, to hang their heads in shame and to to drown their sorrows a great deal in meths.
