Scariest/worst/your most disliked death?
We've had the funnyest death thread but what about the scariest/worst/most disliked death then? One of the ones I dislike was Martin's.

I found the death of team five in series two the scariest (at the time).
Subject to change.

I found the very first death from season 1 the scariest because of the music.
But that was when I was young, I don't find it scary any more.

I didn't find many of the deaths particularly scary, i disliked Cliff's death because of the McGrew thing with the DANCE spell.

Re:Scariest/worst/your most disliked death?
I was really scared when I saw Daniel (series 8, team 2) get chopped up in the corridor of blades. Perhaps it was because I was only 10 at the time- or maybe it was the fact that they used blood at the time. I still think that that team deserved the most to win, and that their death was the most unfair of that season.

Seeing the episode from series 5 on Challenge last night brought back memories. I think it could have been that exact episode, but I remember when I first saw the wall monster lunge forward to eat the dungeoneer, I had to look away, I was so scared! If it was that series, I would only have been 7 or 8 years old! Bless...

Re:Scariest/worst/your most disliked death?
Hey everyone.
I'm new here, so I'm not familiar with the individual team names just yet, but there have been a few modes of dispatch that have stayed with me since the moment I witnessed them.
- The Dreadnaught intoning that the dungeoneer, having failed to give the password, had "reached journey's end". The screen fades to black, accompanied by the oft-used spine-chiliing string music that signalled the player's demise, and the armoured Life Force skeleton appeared full-screen. The skeleton's helmet clattered to the ground, before the entire bone structure disintegrated into a yellowed pile. Things like that, you don't forget.
- The aforementioned claret-soaked Corridor Of Blades demise. For a quote-unquote kid's show, this shocks me even now.
- There was one dungeoneer - yeah, her name was January - who got kidnapped by Sylvester Hands. She had a magic ring, but instead of putting it on herself, offered it to him. He sounded his goblin horn - cue those sinister strings welling up in the background - then threw a rope around her and dragged her "off to Lord Fear". She was physically resisting, and when the screen faded to black and the Life Force Skull cracked apart, eyeballs rolling, the implicit violence that awaited January upone her arrival at Mount Fear was nothing short of chilling.
Is it any wonder we turned out like we did?

If you didn't already know and have got access to Challenge tv, then series 6 starts on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

Re:Scariest/worst/your most disliked death?
Who thought that the team that was about to attempt the Great Causeway in Series 6 death on that Causeway was unfair, They should been able to complete the quest and refresh the Life Force then tackle it not just get killed on the first block.
I wasn't happy one bit when that happened not at all.
