GG and the five stars of the YABB forum
....now is it me, or doesn't GG get a rank if he has five stars? Alright, so he's made it past Level 3 (in posting terms), but on this forum - link below - you get a special rank for five stars:

Makes you think, doesn't it? ;D

Re: GG and the five stars of the YABB forum
Can anyone suggest a suitable rank name for posters who reach 5 stars on this forum?
I was going to specify 'Winning Dungeoneer' but it may be confused with people who have actually won Knightmare.

How about "Knight" or something, as thats what they were after in the original season of Knightmare.
Although rank doesnt matter too much in the community, we can alwys keep close to the series' origins

I'd also assumed "Winning Dungeoneer" would make up the 5-star title: it certainly fits with the other titles. You may be right about the possible confusion, however.
For my part, I certainly don't care much about remaining without a title for now. Don't worry about adding one for my sake. There'll be a need for one in the long-term, naturally.
James, I'm very amused by the title on the forum you point to. But with all the in-character prattle I've managed in my current incarnation, making me a Deity would probably be asking for trouble!!!
I can just see me issuing new Commandments:
Thou shalt not praise Brother Strange.
Thou shalt not eat the life force quiche. To do so is Sin.
I could go on. I won't. Be grateful.
P.S. If it fitted (which it probably wouldn't), I'd always thought a title for Illusion could have been "The Powers That Be".
P.P.S. At least in my case, "Winning Dungeoneer" wouldn't really be suitable since I was eaten by Mug the Gargoyle in Level 3 for saying his mouth was almost as big as Elita's. They only let me off because the next team hadn't arrived. (Actually, I fed them to a certain two-headed canine, but please don't tell Tim Child or Treguard.)

Don't get me started on custom titles. I'm a regular poster in another community where you get a custom title after 250 posts... it's caused the administrators no end of hassle. Fun though. :p

Re: GG and the five stars of the YABB forum
Pardon my ignorance but being a little new, I wondered just how many times I have to post to acquire a second star. It's a really cool system - was it based on the staff reward schemes one sees in these fast-food places?
Oh look there's J.G. Ballard in a burnt-out fridge with a spitfire pilot.
