Room Names
There are some areas which haven't been named before like the Lions Eye Beam Room, I was thinking of calling it the "Lion's Den" or something!

If the only way is onward how would you get home for tea??

That's what Illusion called it, but he couldn't think of a name for it so...

Re:Room Names
If you're talking about the room in Series 3 with the two giant cats... my personal theory is that they belong to Mogdred, with the whole set-up being called 'The Moggies Of Dread'.
The situation is similar on Crystal Maze - familiar rooms throughout any given series, but no names for the rooms as such; particularly because, I suppose, they were a new experience for each team.

Re:Room Names
I could argue that point to some degree.
Some of the rooms were named by Treguard during game-play IE 'Corridor-of-blades', 'block-and-tackle', 'crazed heifer' (tho' admittedly that is a location rather than a puzzle room).
This seems to imply at least some kind of familiarity with recurring hazards which the team-in-quest should have an idea about. (For instance, making sure to go wall-to-wall in the C of B instead of just taking 1 measly step).
It also seemed apparent that some teams were die-hard fans, Barry in S7 comes to mind and there were definately others. They were generally the older teams who semed to spend most of the quest trying not to cringe despite managing to get on their favourite show!

There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

Re:Room Names
Hard to imagine Treguard saying:
'Oh look, it is that purple circular room again...In a slightly different form from what we just saw 2 rooms ago. Yes, we are in the Purple Circular Room Version 3, more dangerous than Version 2, apparently.'

Advisor 1: Your standing in large clearing, the sky is pink.
Dungeoneer: Pink?
Treguard: Warning team! I sense a dark presence. Guide him out!
Advisor 2: It's not pink it's magenta.
Advisor 1: it's pink!
Dungeoneer: Pink?
Advisor 3: Advisor 1 is right, it is pink.

Advisor 2: Magenta.
Advisor 1: It is pink!
(At this point the dungeoneer has been killed by a floating skull)
Treguard: Ooh... nasty! Maybe you should have payed more attention to the dungeoneer, not the sky.
Advisor 1: But it's pink!
